i only started doing these recently, not the exact perfect technique but still, didnt stretch or any thing n i did em after doing normal and bicycle crunches, my core was sore like a mofo for two days atleast, first time i did em i did a 100 in a sets of 4

h8urdad , you did it that much, wow, 5 times by 50 =250, really a nice job, eventhough you got sore body after that, dont misunderstood, im compliment on you, seriously doing 1 set only make me cant move for 3 days....

head and arms, also your legs. it should be about 1 1/2 - 2 inches off the ground when you come back down from the ' v ' shape :D

my record is 120 sit-ups... but i was same tired after 10 of those exercises :P

try stretching before and after your workout, this may help with the pain, also, if this is your first attempt at Pilates V Exercises, your lower back will be put to alot of use, try strengthening your lower back, oand build up slowly, try starting off with 1 or 2 reps a day to slowly strengthen your muscles, do it too quick and fast,and you are in danger of straining something
